Jeffery Broadhurst, AIA
Upon receiving his Master's Degree from the University of Maryland in 1985, Jeff continued his practical education and development in the office of Stephen Muse and Gregory Wiedemann before establishing Broadhurst Architects in 2001. He has developed the firm based on a simple design philosophy that all work should be thoughtfully considered, and respectful of its surroundings. Under his leadership, Broadhurst Architects has earned a reputation for its thoughtful, comfortable and award-winning design work and has been included in Washingtonian Magazine's list of Top Architects in DC.
Hisao Yatsuhashi, AIA, LEED Green Associate
With over 25 years of experience in residential design and construction, Hisao enjoys both the technical and personal aspects of the architectural profession. He values the carpentry experience he gained early in his career working for custom home builders. Working for several architectural firms in the Washington, DC area since the 1990s, he has overseen the design and construction of scores of renovations, additions and new homes – all the time savoring the process of working with homeowners, who each bring their individual personalities, desires and needs to the table.
